At our state-of-the-art facility in South Carolina, ES Foundry manufactures high-efficiency crystalline solar cells using a precision-driven process that meets the highest standards of quality and transparency. But our commitment goes further.
We’re helping developers, asset owners and investors meet evolving compliance requirements by delivering solar cells that are FEOC-free across ownership, leadership, funding and intellectual property — aligned with federal rules.

Our advanced, 400,000+ square-foot solar cell manufacturing facility is located in Greenwood, South Carolina. The plant has reached 3 GW of annual production capacity.
Greenwood is the economic center of six surrounding counties. It is a modern and diverse economic base in a region home to international corporations and nationally recognized companies in industries such as manufacturing, distribution, research and development and healthcare.
Every solar cell begins with a silicon wafer. At ES Foundry, we perform the critical manufacturing processes — including diffusion, P/N junction formation, passivation, metallization and testing — that transform raw silicon wafers into high-performance photovoltaic devices. These processes represent the core of solar cell manufacturing and are fundamental to building a stronger domestic solar supply chain.
With 3 GW of annual production capacity, ES Foundry is positioned to support growing customer demand while continuing to invest in advanced manufacturing, automation, quality assurance and workforce development.
ES Foundry provides customers with project-specific Certificates of Origin, manufacturing traceability and documentation that supports product origin, Domestic Content strategies and evolving compliance requirements.
